Welcome aboard the Maharajas' Express, the epitome of ultimate luxury train travel, which can be aptly referred to as a personification of style, luxury, lavishness and grandeur.  Maharajas' Express, Asia's costliest train, is undoubtedly India's most opulent luxury train. Promising and delivering royal treatment on rails, this train has redefined the art of elegant train travelling.

One of the most expensive and luxurious train rides in the world, Maharajas' Express offers a fascinating voyage across some of the popular destinations across India. The interiors of the train draw inspiration from the lifestyle of the Indian Maharajas. From modern amenities to world class services, every aspect of this elegant train journey provides a touch of the royal grandeur.

ACCOMMODATION
A train almost half a mile long redefines luxury and comfort. It recreates the lifestyle of a princely era and provides an experience of lavish living. The Cabins on the Maharajas' Express are considered to be the most Lavish among all the International Luxury Tourist Trains.

All cabins of the train have large panoramic windows to capture glimpses of the beautiful landscape of various parts of India. All passenger cabins are equipped with dedicated temperature control, LCD televisions, DVD players, telephone and internet, in-house movies and live television.

Every cabin has individual wardrobe, personal electronic safe deposit box, writing table etc. Moreover power points with 110 as well as 230 V are installed.

Besides dedicated butler service, complimentary tea, coffee, mineral water and light snacks are available at all times.
Bathrooms are fitted with all amenities like w.c., basins, running hot and cold water, bath robes, slippers, hair dryer, and a host of toiletries. Towels and linen are changed daily or as per request.
Maharajas' Express offers four categories of accommodation – Deluxe Cabin, Junior Suite, Suite and The Presidential Suite – with a capacity to accommodate a total of 88 passengers.

Deluxe Cabins
The Maharajas' Express offers 20 Deluxe Cabins, out of which 15 are twin bedded and 5 are double bedded. The total passenger capacity of the Deluxe Cabins is 40.

Junior Suite
The train coaches of Junior Suites are named after the precious gems – Moti (Pearl), Panna (Emerald), Manik (Ruby), Gomed (Hessonite), Moonga (Coral) and Pukhraj (Saphire) to indicate the lavishness present in the overall experience provided in the tour Packages of Maharajas' Express.
The train has 18 Junior Suites of which 12 are twin bedded and 6 double bedded, with a capacity of accommodating 36 passengers.

Suite
The Maharajas' Express has 4 double bedded Suites each spread over an area of 220 Sq. ft. The coaches of Suites are named after the precious gems Heera (Diamond) and Neelam (Blue Saphire) to indicate the luxury and splendours offered on-board.
The 4 Suites have a capacity to accommodate 8 passengers.

The Presidential Suite
The Presidential Suite on-board this first class tourist train has 448 sq. ft of cabin area, having the distinction of being the only one of its kind among international luxury trains.
The Presidential Suite, aptly named Navratana (nine planetary gems), boasts of a living room, two bedrooms and washrooms, besides an exclusive 24 hours personal valet to provide with attentive and luxury service.
This exclusive suite for the connoisseurs can accommodate 4 passengers only.

DINING
Two fine dining restaurants – "Mayur Mahal"  and "Rang Mahal" – with a capacity to seat 42 persons each, adorn the Maharajas' Express, as each and everyone on board dines together. To boost the luxury experience of dining, the meals are accompanied by selective range of house wines and beer.

The two suave dining cars are connected to state-of-the-art kitchen cars, manned by experienced chefs, promising hygiene, taste and variety. The menu includes authentic Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine amongst others, prepared from fresh and finest organic ingredients.

The train has a dedicated team of butlers on board to attend to all your needs. Each carriage is manned by an individual butler, on call 24 hours, trained to meet the needs of guests and comply with utmost speed and efficiency.

BAR AND LOUNGE
The Safari Bar, is a well stocked dedicated bar saloon with choicest and exclusive collection of house brands of wines, beer and spirits from around the world. The innovative cocktails served with a variety of snacks, make Safari Bar the perfect place with somber ambience for rejoicing and relaxing.
The Rajah Club, a lounge with en-suite bar, is equipped with games table, comfortable club arm chairs, and tasteful collection of books, is the best place in the train to relax, unwind and rejuvenate. The car also has a high end souvenir boutique that offers exquisite and unique memorabilia for passengers, called the Treasure Chest.
